People are really different!

Wow. Just wow. When I found out there was a colleague who left all the teaching groups, I could only think about how this person must have wanted people to personally tell this person about any news or upcoming events. A sense of self-importance? I learnt that this person only stays if there is a personal benefit and I now can believe this to be true. I don't expect to be pal-ly - pal-ly with this person but this person is choosing to isolate themselves from others - so who can blame anyone when you don't have friends? Or you don't need friends? Sigh.
